Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name has been recognized as a pioneer in the field of witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer, has won numerous prizes and grants. She has worked with many government agencies and institutions across the world on research and policies relating to children who are victims of the legal system. She is currently a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is also a fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
